Besides appearing in movies and television shows, Shamoon Abbasi these days is quite enthusiastic about his short film series ‘6 da pack’. Third film from the series released today, the short film named Mey Rahungi, depicts the strength of the women in the world. The film stars Sherry Shah and Saleem Mairaj in lead roles. Here it is, a strong woman narrating her story as she goes through life threatening events.
Shamoon Abbasi is making these short and inexpensive films in collaboration with Reachout Films and Film Foundation. The third short film is directed and written by Shamoon Abbasi where as produced by Sherry Shah. Shamoon’s aim to highlight some of the taboos of our society are clearly seen in his films as he’s spreading powerful messages through art.
