Clothing choices for women have always been a topic of discussion all over the world though it never made any sense. There are countries who would try to cover the women more than they want to while some try to snatch away clothes from their bodies as they oppress them in the opposite way. Hijab is one such thing that has been targeted many times with people trying to dub it as an oppression for women and not asking them about their choice regarding what they want to do. Ahmed Ali Butt talked about Hijab and how society perceives unmodest clothing in a podcast interview with FHM.
Ahmed Ali Butt’s wife Fatima Khan wears Hijab and she observes a headdress wherever she is going, be it the family vacations or any televised events. She has also openly talked about how close she has come to the religion over the years and tries to instill those beautiful values in her son.
Talking to FHM, Ahmed Ali Butt said that unfortunately our society has made lesser clothes cooler. He added that his wife used to live in London and she used to dress in Western fashion. But later in life, she started reading Islam more and decided that she wants to wear Hijab. She even asked Ahmed if he had a problem if she wears a scarf, to which he said that why would he and she can definitely wear Hijab. He also revealed he comes from a spiritual family and his wife is even more spiritual than he is.
