Back in May 17th, the star of Janaan, Armeena Khan chopped off her golden locks for a more carefree bob and she seems to be thrilled with it. She’s posted a few pictures on Instagram sporting her new look.
‘GONE! Chopped! Got rid! Sorry about the cheesy snapchat filter’, she captioned, adding: ‘I Feel better! #Celebratinglife’. Considering how quickly the temperature has peaked, its not surprising people would want to ditch their long hair for something more breezy.
The 30 year-old Pakistani sweetheart also rocked the style on the set of HumTV’s new drama series, Daldal. The actress will be working alongside the likes of Zahid Ahmed, Asma Abbas, Abid Ali and Muneeb Butt for this project. Little is know about the project so far but looking at other instagram posts of the cast, the show seems to be based in a rural setting. Zahid Ahmed took to instagram to say ‘Nihayat ghareeb aur nihayat dilchasp. Shooting daldal’. With the recent surge in dramas raising awareness for serious social issues in fresh new settings and innovative plots, one can also expect this to be turning heads too. However, it seems like we won’t be seeing much of Armeena’s new do as Muneeb Butt’s snapchat story on the set shows her wearing extensions but looking angelic nonetheless.
