I am really puzzled by the recent “harkatain” and messages of Aamir liaquat in his Ramzan transmission on express tv (not that there were no harkatain before but now they have increased 10 folds). After watching the video below, I was forced to think that there is really something wrong with his mental state. Is it a mere jealousy or extreme arrogance which is making him say all this or what else?? Having the knowledge about Islam, he should know that arrogance is strongly disliked in Islam. His behavior is really contradicting his claims to be a religious scholar.
I have not seen Fahad Mustafa saying anything bad about Aamir liaquat in his show or even claiming to be the best host. The most upsetting part is when these so called religious scholars totally ignore one of the most emphasized aspect of Islam: ikhlaqiat. All these commercial Ramazan transmissions are taking people away from the true meaning of Ramazan. Instead of spending time in ibadah,learning and doing good deeds, and asking for forgiveness from Allah (swt), people are busy watching these commercial shows and learning the tricks to win a mobile. I hope things change and our media start emphasizing more on the true essence of Ramazan.
