Bushra Ansari is a legend of entertainment and a very strong and independent woman. She started working when she was a child and she is still actively working in several projects and winning hearts by her on-screen appearances. She has been through a lot of ups and downs in her personal life. She got divorced after nearly three decades of her marriage and then married again when she found love. She is a mother, a grandmother who takes care of her children and at the same time she is a woman who always stands up for herself.
Recently we have seen many cases of women who have faced domestic violence and even death. The lack of support from the system, in many cases from their own families and society in general crushes them even more when their cases come to light.
Bushra Ansari spoke about these cases and had advice for everyone. She said that all independent women need to get out as soon as they realize their relationships are abusive. She said that I understand that with marriages within the family or watta satta, this is not going to be possible or easy. She further added that parents need to think that they can’t feed their daughter, is that their inspiration when they do not help their abused daughters. Her advice was to save lives first and think about all other things of society second.
