The struggle that started in 1857 culminated to its peak in the year 1947 when people of the sub-continent finally got independence. India and Pakistan both appeared on the world map and since then Pakistan has gone through many struggles. We lost Quaid e Azam a year after the country came into being. We have had a long list of tragedies from losing Fatima Jinnah, Madar e Millat, the separation of East Pakistan, multiple dictatorships, the never-ending hell that is the so-called war on terror and thousands of lives lost. But the country is still standing and the citizens are still resilient. Such is the spirit of pakistan and such is the spirit of Pakistanis.
Today as we celebrate the 76 years till Pakistan came into being and its 77th 14th August, we struggle economically, socially and politically but Pakistanis have the resolve to rise once again. They feel battered but still optimistic. The love of their country still remains tall and that is true for our celebrities as well.
