Zulqarnain Haider is a Pakistani (former) cricketer who has played for the national team as wicket keeper batsman. He also played for Pakistan’s Under-19 squad, he was inducted in national team in 2010 as cover for wicket-keeper Kamran Akmal during their tour of England.
Recently, the cricketer underwent a stomach surgery for the disease which he had developed, a few days ago, as a result of food poisoning, in Oman. Talking about his disease, Zulqarnain said that he was suffering from a serious stomach disease which worsened after the food poisoning.
In recent interview, Zulqarnain updated about his health. He also thanked the channel GNN for inviting him on Show Taaron Say Karen Batain. He said, “I am getting better by the grace of Almighty Allah, Today, the doctors have checked my stitches and removed half of them, remaining ones will be removed after recovery”
Talking about financial aid and the role of PCB he said, “I had been contacted and helped by PCB in time, Ramiz Raja contacted and assured me his help, all the expenses of my treatment were financed by PCB, all the renowned cricketers, colleagues fans and friends reached out to me, all the NGO’s and institutes contacted me and asked for help but I refused all of them because PCB had already assured me of all sorts of help, I attended the most calls by friends and fans in these days, people called me out of love”.
