Danish is a celebrated Pakistani television and film actor and Director who got immense recognition from his plays ‘Nadaaniyan’ and ‘Extras The Mango People.’ Though he made his entry in Showbiz with acting, yet with time he experimented with his skills and became a Director. Danish Nawaz recently appeared in an interview with “Fuchsia Magazine”.
Danish Nawaz while talking about the casting process of drama serial ‘Dobara’, mentioned that “It was tricky to finalize Nauman Ejaz and Hadiqa Kiani for their specific role in Dobara. Many people said that Nauman Ejaz’s age is not matched with his character but what we actually need is a best actor. Either we can match his age or his performance with our specific character.”
“We selected Usama for Affan’s character because we saw some similarities between Usama and Nauman Ejaz, on the other hand Maheen totally fits into her character. They actually look like siblings. We selected Bilal for Mahir’s character because we needed a person whose transition could change from the previous one and you’ll see this on your TV screens soon”, added Danish Nawaz.
Danish further said that “We selected Sakina apa for phopho’s character because she was not appearing in many drama serials lately and I wanted to show a different face to the audience. The way Sakina Samo has played her role is worth appreciating. She is portraying a negative character but no one can specifically call her character a negative one.”
