The renowned Pakistani comedy industry has seen many great comedians who have worked hard to create a big name for themselves. The brilliant Pakistani comedians loved their craft. They believe that making people laugh is their first and foremost duty because of their commitment to perform for the audience. The comedians don’t even think about their families and loved ones while they are on the stage for performance. In the past, some well-known Pakistani comedians like Zeba Shehnaz, Omar Sharif and others shared about hearing the news of losing loved ones on the stage and instead of stopping the show, they bravely kept going.
Recently, the famous Pakistani theatre actor Sajan Khan appeared on Mazaaqraat, where he shared the emotional story of his sister’s death. Speaking about it, he said, ‘We are five brothers, including Sakhawat Naaz (bhai). We had only one sister whom we loved a lot. The day we heard the news of our sister’s death, we were both on stage, performing in the same drama because we knew people have bought tickets for us”.
Sakhawat Naaz also added, ‘Allah gives strength in difficult times. We performed in the drama, but we could not face each other on stage. Me and Sajan were avoiding each other. We were entertaining people, and no one came to know what we had been facing in our real lives. After a certain time, I lost all my courage; I thought I can’t work now.’ Imran Ashraf hugged Sakhawat Naaz after seeing him emotional.”
