Khalid Butt was a brilliant Pakistani television, film and theater actor. He belonged to Punjab, Pakistan. The actor began his career in 1970 as an assistant director of films. In 1978, he got the chance to perform as an actor. He played the role of hero in his first serial and became a popular Pakistani figure. Khalid Butt appeared in Boota from Toba Tek Singh, Dillagi and other famous plays. Recently, made a comeback on television with the hit dramas Jeevan Nagar & Khaie. His notable appearance in the drama serial GT Road was admired by the viewers because of his emotional acting.
On 11 January 2024, Khalid Butt passed away in Lahore. Recently, an emotional voice note of the actor is doing rounds on the social media application Tiktok. In the voice note, Khalid Butt is informing his grandson about his health condition. Talking about it, Khalid Butt said, “Thankyou Zahid sahib. I don’t know how to tell you. I can’t even go to washroom. I cant even speak. My liver will be transplanted, it has almost stopped functioning. Doctors have recommended liver transplant, this is final. Tomorrow, I will go to the PKLI (with my reports), where they do liver & Kidney transplantation. My stomach has also become so weaker. I am dealing with multiple health issues. Please pray for my health. I was in Gilgit for the shooting of my drama, they sent me home for 8 days, now I am back to Gilgit”. He also send love and prayers to his kids”.
