If you’re a 90s kid and you grew up in Pakistan, you’d absolutely remember Faakhir Mehmood and his amazing music. Faakhir was one of the best musicians in Pakistan back in the 90s. And although Faakhir is still very much in the game, he has reduced producing music like he used to and we dearly miss the magic he used to weave with his voice.
However, this quarantine and lockdown has inspired Faakhir to make one new song and listening to it has us in fits of laughter. Fakhir and his kids recently released their latest single “Meri Double Chin,” a song that is aptly describing what the COVID-19 lockdown has done to all of us.
Meri Double Chin also features a number of Faakhir’s celebrity friends in the video, all shooting their parts from the confines of their homes and we’re loving the entire effect it has created.
And not to forget, Faakhir’s kids, Simone and Nael, especially his daughter Simone, is a natural talent. It seems the elder one has inherited her dad’s love for music and is naturally in rhythm.
