Fatima Effendi and Kanwar Arsalan recently made an appearance on a morning show hosted by Nadia Khan. In the show Fatima Effendi and Kanwar Arsalan shared their remarks on the most talked about topic nowadays i.e. should women do their husband’s chores or not.
“We do everything together, whether it’s my work or his work we do it together”. Responding to Nadia Hussain’s statement Fatima said: “He can’t be compared with a kid, the partner is a partner”. About doing her husband’s work Fatima said: “If you do something with your heart then it is well and good but there are no hard and fast rules”. She added: “I do Knawar’s work at times”.
Talking on the matter Kanwar said: “If I truly define it, Fatima shouldn’t do anything for me because Fatima goes work outside. Because Fatima works outside, I work outside, how can I tell her to do stuff, she is working too. How can I discriminate between my work and her work, that I get green colored notes from my work and she gets black colored notes from her work? If she is available she asks me what I want for breakfast otherwise I ask the cook to make breakfast for me. If she is not available, I press my clothes myself and I believe it’s easier to do your work yourself”
