Umera Ahmed’s first writing Zindagi Gulzar Hai was mostly an experiment than anything else; something she wrote to test her writing skills. She sent her story to be published in a monthly digest with very little hope that it would be considered. To her surprise the story was not just accepted but also turned out t be a mega hit and later she compiled it into a novel and we are all watching it go on air as a drama now. Umera Ahmed has written sixteen books till date and has many devoted fans.
Those people who do not read books are also well acquainted with Umera Ahmed because many of her novels have gone on air as plays and she has also written scripts especially for dramas.
