Talking about it, Iftikhar Thakur said, “We used to perform a drama in Naz Theatre, I delivered a dialogue in drama, the dialogue says, “Aren’t you ashamed of yourself? You drink alcohol, you supply it and let others drink, don’t you know that Allah lives near your jugular vein and the thing you are consuming is not pure, you sell it to people too and it runs in your blood, how do you take Allah’s name in this condition?”. The next day, I came across a person who came to me and asked for forgiveness from me, on which I was reluctant that why was he seeking forgiveness from me. He then told how he was addicted to alcohol and had been drinking since twenty years. He further said, ‘I have asked for forgiveness from Allah, I just wanted to tell you that your drama’s dialogue changed my heart, I won’t drink it, I feel ashamed that I kept alcohol near Allah. I feel sorry”. Here is what he said:

Talking about people who make excuses for skipping prayers, he said, “I don’t get why people make excuses for not offering the prayers. I don’t know which Sajda/ prostration of them will be accepted?. It will only be accepted if they will keep on praying, any accepted Sajda can fetch them forgiveness and will light up their life and life after death. It is necessary to keep on praying, whats better than going to pray amidst your busy routine”.
