Iftikhar Thakur is a brilliant Pakistani comedian and actor who has been appearing on the television for more than two decades. He began his career as a stage artist. He has also appeared in multiple hit PTV sitcoms including Lahori Gate and others. Iftikhar Thakur is now a famous star who is working in international Punjabi films, Pakistani television shows, dramas and theatres. Currently, he is famous for his show Gup Shab which has been airing in Samaa TV. Previously, he was an integral part of Dunya TV through his famous show Mazaaqraat before quitting the channel along with his team. He’s also admired for his motivational podcasts.
Well, recently, he made an appearance in Gnn’s show Daisbook, hosted by Junaid Saleem. In the show, Iftikhar Thakur opened up about his respectful relationship with Aftab Iqbal.
When Junaid Saleem asked, “Which person you respect the most? Iftikhar Thakur replied, “I will tell but you won’t air it in your show, well, I respect Aftab Iqbal a lot because there is a reason to that, once I was shooting a drama when my eldest daughter had an accident. She used to play on sofas, once she got slipped and the back of her neck got damaged, I told this to Aftab Iqbal and he immediately stopped his show and arranged the most experienced doctor at Doctors hospital. He brought the doctor from his home to the hospital and also discussed the best possible treatment, he urged doctors to do everything to save my daughter, at that time it costed 21 lacs. Aftab Iqbal made sure that my daughter is fine, he didn’t relax until she was doing fine”. Here is the link to the video:
