Khaie is a trending hit nowadys and it is a very action-based and murderous drama that is different from the typical Pakistani scripts. It is getting millions of views and all the actors in Khaie have been applauded for their strong performances. Khaie is based on a tradition where among a conflict between two families, one family kills off all the male members of the other family. The tradition has been reported in KPK, Balochistan and rural areas of Punjab. But many people were not sure if this was real when the drama made its debut on television.
Faysal Quraishi has talked about the questions raised on the tradition of Khaie and if the drama makers were targeting the Pashtun community through it. He had revealed that the drama Khaie is basically a fantasy world and they took inspiration from several cultures like he is wearing a Balochi shalwar while he kept a certain Pashtun accent to make his character look autentic.
He was a guest on Hasna Mana Hai and he talked about if Khaie really happens in Pakistan. He revealed that he has been getting so many messages from people who have been through this nightmare. He got to know about people who ran off to other countries in order to save their lives while only 1-2 members made it in other families.
