Syed Noor is one of the biggest names in the history of Pakistani cinema. He has directed hundreds of films and worked with all the big film stars in the county. Syed Noor brought many actors to the fore front who later ruled the film industry. He is married to film super star Saima Noor and they are actually the true definition of a power couple in the entertainment industry.
Though the film business has gone down a lot, Syed Noor still comes out with a film here or there and he introduced Tiktoker Jannat Mirza into the movie business. Jannat made her film debut with Syed Noor’s Tere Bajray Di Rakhi which was a flop but still Jannat got good reviews for her screen presence.
Jannat Mirza was a guest on Good Morning Pakistan where she revealed that she got a call from Syed Noor’s assistant and then talked to Mr Noor. He asked if she knew him to which he said that she does not. He told her to google his name and then they will discuss further. She then googled who he was and also asked her parents. That is when she found out that he was a big film director but she told him no as her parents would never allow her to do a movie.
Later on Syed Noor went to Jannat Mirza’s house along with wife Saima Noor and they convinced her parents to let her do a film. That is when they allowed her and she thinks of Syed Noor like a father figure and Saima as a great guide.
