Pakistan is on a sensitive turn is a statement that we have been hearing for 76 years now. Looks like the beloved country is on a sensitive roundabout and it may not get off it any time soon. Military involvement in politics, incompetence of politicians, zero rule of law and no care about the public welfare are some factors that have bankrupted Pakistan. The country is not progressing in anything except inflation which is increasing day after day. There has been no respect for Ramadan and as soon as the Holy month started, the price of all commodities skyrocketed. People this year cannot even afford flour, potatoes and onions. There is news of people committing suicide and many people who used to help others need help themselves today.
JDC Foundation has done great work in Karachi. They are again hosting Sehri and Iftar this year in addition to other charitable deeds. The founder Zafar Abbas was a guest on ARY and he got emotional talking about the crushing inflation this year. He said that he knows many guards who are sleeping on roads as they cannot afford bus fares. They slept on the road and started working again in the morning. He added that Ramadan packages by the government will not work anymore. There is a need for comprehensive planning.
