Junaid Akram aka Ganji Swag is one of the most famous social media celebrities from Pakistan. He is quite well-known for his commentary videos and Junaid has talked about the economy, politics and social norms of Pakistan a lot. He is known for calling out the behaviour of Pakistanis several times and how they never stand for what is right or do what needs to be done.
Recently there was a controversy with many celebrities promoing initiatives of the Government of Punjab while people were furious to see their stars endorsing a government when there were back-breaking electricity bills coming up. Junaid also took a lot of money allegedly 2.5 million rupees and made a video of Punjab Government’s 100 days performance.

After Junaid lost over 100k subscribers in one day and got a lot of backlash, he has now come forward with an explanation. He apologized to the public due to not understanding their anger against the current policies. He said that he should have written paid promotion and he did not understand the true sentiments on the screens.
