He is known for his social commentary videos. He initially made videos from Dubai that went viral on YouTube and he became a famous social media influencer. Junaid Akram has now gained a huge stardom because of his podcasts and other videos. He often posts videos about his political and social arguments and observations.
Lately, Junaid Akram appeared in Nida Yasir’s show Nadan Maizban. In the show, he talked about vloggers and social media influencers.
He said that now people are interested in getting viral at any cost. He said, “I think most people even do marriages to go viral, just like Mera Dil Yeh Pukare Aaja girl. Talking about why, youngsters are opting for YouTube as a career, he said, “In fact, people find it difficult to earn through a small business (like french a fries shop) . They think that they will be working hard for years and they will not be able to see the fruits of their hard work. Also, people want to do anything on the internet in order to get famous because internet ensures an instant success. So, they have started making videos, it is a good income source, although, I encourage social media platforms as source of earning but the children should not be exposed to it.
