Khalil ur Rehman Qamar is one of the most successful writers in Pakistan. Any project with his name instantly catches the eye and people are queueing to watch what story he has come up with. Boota From Toba Tek Singh, Landa Bazaar, Mere Paas Tum Ho and Punjab Nahi Jaongi are some of his mega projects. He is also extremely opinionated and has been in many controversies.
One such fight he has is with Mahira Khan. Mahira once condemned him after he had a fight with Marvi Sirmed on a live show and both Mahira and Khalil ur Rehman Qamar have not seen eye to eye since then. He was a guest on Mohsin Abbas Haider’s show Public demand and revealed that there has been no patch up between Mahira Khan and him.
He further revealed that other people from the industry tried to persuade him to let things go and bury the hatchet with Mahira Khan but he said NO! He also praised Mahira again and said that though he has let that comment go but he will never be able to work with her ever again.
