Mahira Khan and Fatima Bhutto recently came together to share the stage at the National Theater London. Mahira was invited to read from Bhutto’s latest novel The Runaways on Monday. Journalist Mohsin Saeed took to Instagram and posted free pictures from the event.
Mohsin shares the pictures with a beautiful caption ’Two of the favorite artists, women together’. Talking about the event, he said that Fatima Bhutto was joined for an evening of conversation and debate by Gary Younge, the editor-at-large of The Guardian and with a reading by Mahira Khan at National Theater London.
The discussed Turkish television, how Bollywood may change the decades but its women are always portrayed as one skin tone-fair. Mahira Khan blew everyone away in the audience with her beautiful reading. This was the first time when a Pakistani actor performed at the National Theatre.
