Mahira Khan’s recent telefilm Aik Hai Nigar has become talk of the town since it got aired, the telefilm has crossed more than 2.5 million view in just three days. In the telefilm, Mahira Khan has played the character of real life Pakistan Army surgeon who is also Pakistan’s first ever three star female General, Lieutenant General Nigar Johar. The telefilm portrayed life and career of Lieutenant General Nigar Johar. Under the direction of Adnan Sarwar, the telefilm also stars ace actors including Bilal Ashraf, Sohail Sameer and Khushal Khan. The life story of Nigar Johar was penned down by Umera Ahmed.
Mahira flawlessly depicted General Nigar with her expressions, moods, dressing, tough training and the resilience which was the main essential for the role.
Alot of Pakistani celebrities, who watched her in Aik Hai Nigar, couldn’t hold their praises and took them to Instagram.
Samina Peerzada, Maya Ali, Areeba Habib and alot of other celebrities praised her acting skills. Maya said that both Mahira and Bilal were perfectly knit in the story. Samina Peerzada took her praise to social media and appreciated Mahira Khan. Mahira also replied to her, she thanked her with kind words.
Areeba Habib also posted the story praising Mahira and Bilal while watching the telefilm. Indian movie director Rahul Dholakia , who also directed Raees, praised and congratulated Mahira on acting and co-priducing film.
