Fans are always looking forward to Humayun saeed making an appearance on television. His last play Mere Paas Tum Ho was a mega hit and it has been copied in the neighbouring country as well. Humayun Saeed has since appeared in a superhit film but his fans have been missing him in action in a drama. There was an announcement that he will soon feature in a drama Main Manto Nahin Hoon written by Khalil ur Rehman Qamar and directed by Nadeem Baig but the drama has been stalling due to various reasons.
There have been speculations about Mehwish Hayat and then Maya Ali to feature in the drama but no news was confirmed. Fans even made posters for both as the drama is highly anticipated.
Khalil ur Rehman Qamar was a guest on Mazaaq raat where he was asked if he was writing a drama. He said that he is writing Main Manto Nahin Hoon and Humayun Saeed is playing the lead role. When asked about the lead actress, he cheekily replied that the production has asked him not to reveal Sajal Aly’s name.
So, Sajal Aly is now confirmed as the lead actress in Main Manto Nahin Hoon.
