Masarrat Misbah is a famous and exceptionally talented Pakistani beautician and philanthropist known for her multiple businesses. She is the founder of Depilex, a chain of beauty salons, she owns her makeup brand which is Pakistan’s first halal-certified makeup brand. She also founded the Smile Again Foundation which supports acid attack survivors. Besides this, she appeared in the TV play Asawari, written by Aapa Surraiya Bajia which was an iconic message orientated play.
Recently, Masarrat Misbah appeared in Alief TV’s show Meri Maa where she talked about her loving parents.
Talking about parents reaction after divorce, Masarrat Misbah said, “My mother just accepted me with open arms; she showered love on me. My father called all my sisters and said, “Now, I will marry off my daughters after they complete their education.” He asked me if I wanted to work or to study further. He wanted me to be strong, to move on and overcome. But my mother showered immense love on me; she used to be with me all the time. I loved her beautiful, loving gestures”. She further added, “my mother was surprisingly aware of all my hardships even if I used to hide things from her regarding my personal life. She used to get worried, but my father was more practical; he wanted things to be sorted out properly”
She also said, “In my tough times, my mother used to call me even before our mandatory call timings. I would ask if she was fine, but she was only worried about me. Now, how could I tell her how much abuse I experienced on a daily basis? Her daily calls helped heal my physical and emotional pain. They were a big support for me at that time”.
