Ali Zafar and Meesha Shafi’s feud has taken a different direction since both parties decided to take it to the court. Ali Zafar was the one who wanted to fight it legally. He did not reply to Meesha’s allegations on social media. He sent a legal notice to Meesha through his legal team stating that Meesha has to delete the tweet wherein she accused him of sexual harassment and apologise on the same platform or else pay 1 billion rupees fine for defamation.
Meesha Shafi’s legal team which consists of Nighat Dad and Ahmed Pansota have rejected the notice which was sent to Meesha on 25th April. They have denied all the allegations of false accusing from Ali’s side as well as asked him to publically apologize for his acts. The notice read:
“Your client (Zafar) is urged to withdraw the unlawful and false notice and issue an apology immediately for the wrongs he has committed against women.”
