A model court in Multan sentenced Qandeel Baloch’s brother Muhammad Waseem, the prime suspect in the social media star’s murder case, to life imprisonment. The rest of the suspects who were nominated in the case included, Mufti Abdul Qavi, Aslam Shaheen, Haq Nawaz, Abdul Basit, and Muhammad Zafar Hussain were acquitted by the court.
Today, Mufti Abdul Qavi talked to BBC news after being acquitted in the Qandeel Baloch murder case. He told media that Muhammad Waseem confessed his crime and therefore he will be in prison for the rest of his life. No evidence was found against Abdul Qavi related to the murder case that’s why he is respectfully freed from the case.
