Find out if your baby's weight is healthy using the official WHO growth charts. Works for boys and girls aged 0 to 24 months.
We use the WHO Child Growth Standards to calculate percentile
The baby weight percentile tells you how your baby's weight compares to other babies of the same age and gender. A percentile of 50 means your baby weighs more than 50% of babies their age — exactly in the middle. A percentile of 25 means your baby weighs more than 25% of babies their age.
This calculator uses the WHO Child Growth Standards — the global reference used by paediatricians worldwide including in Pakistan. The WHO charts are based on data from healthy breastfed children in six countries and represent optimal growth under ideal conditions.
For Pakistani parents: Many Pakistani babies are naturally smaller than the WHO average due to genetic factors. A baby consistently between the 10th and 90th percentile and following their own growth curve is generally healthy. What matters most is consistent growth over time — not a single reading. Always discuss any concerns with your paediatrician at your local hospital or BHU.
