There was a time not very long ago when we had TRP wars for morning shows on different channels in Pakistan. Morning show hosts would employ every trick in the book to remain on the top. This modern morning show host era is attributed to Nadia Khan as she is considered the one who started doing those 9 a.m. morning shows.
Nida Yasir gave an interview to Fuchsia where she revealed that she was actually the first person to do morning shows, way before Nadia Khan. The only difference was that she did a recorded version for ARY, a channel which was newly launched at that time. She had to leave it as she was expecting at that time. Nadia Khan later started doing live morning shows.
