Noor ul Hassan is a seasoned Pakistani actor and host. He began acting from popular sitcom Kollege Jeans. His other notable TV appearances include Fun Gama and Wrong Numbers. Noor ul Hassan’s famous Pakistani dramas are Ab Ke Sawan Barse Ga, Ishq Jalebi, Dar Si Jaati Hai Sila, Aangan, Ranjha Ranjha Kardi, Cheekh, Lashkara, Dumpukht, Sammi, Alif Allah Aur Insan and others. His acting was recently praised in Khaie and Ishq Murshid. He also got a huge praise in Turkish series Salahuddin Ayubi in which he played the character of Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jillani.
Recently, Noor ul Hassan appeared in Suno To Sahi, hosted by Hina Niazi. In the show he talked about his selection in Turkish series Salahuddin Ayubi.
Talking about playing Hazrat Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jillani in Salahuddin Ayubi, he said, “I got a call from Adnan Siddiqui on the first of Ramadan ul Mubarak. I already knew he was in the USA. He offered me the role of Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jillani, and I was stunned. He narrated the character to me and said that the director needed someone like me. I couldn’t even process that offer. Then Humayun Saeed also got involved. I asked, ‘Who said I could do this?’ I couldn’t even go to Turkey because of my Ramadan transmission, so I refused. But the Turkish makers insisted they needed me. They selected me out of three other candidates and even waited for me. I was supposed to make my entry in episode 15, but they waited until I wrapped up the Ramadan transmission, and I finally made my entry in episode 25.” Here is the link to the video:
