Saleem Albela is a very famous comedian of Pakistan. He has made people laugh through his comedy and he has one of those faces which will make you smile as soon as he appears on the television screens. Saleem has done theatre and television and now we get to see him in many news shows.
Saleem Albela was a guest on Irza Khan’s podcast and he revealed that he has lost his first wife while she was very young. Saleem’s first wife was his cousin. As his uncle and uncle’s wife died back to back, Saleem’s mother wanted to bring all her late brother’s kids to her house. That is when she got Saleem married to her brother’s daughter. They were both really young when they got together. Saleem was still trying to establish himself in the field.
He revealed that he was away for a drama when he got the news that his wife had died in child birth. His son is now with him but the child could not see his mother. He got on a bus as he did not have a car back then. This is how he lost his first wife and the tragedy is still fresh in his memories. Host Irza Khan also broke into tears while listening to his story.
