Adnan Siddiqui is a big name of the industry and he is a very successful star of Pakistan. He just got a government award as well and he is trying his hand at big productions alongside doing diverse characters on screen. Adnan Siddiqui came under a lot of fire as he appeared on Nida Yasir’s Shan e Suhoor. He spoke about women in a derogatory way and called them houseflies.
Adnan said that women are like houseflies who keep getting away if you chase them and come settle on you once you stop bothering about them. This did not go too well with other people and Adnan also apologized.
Rabi Pirzada has now come forward to defend Adnan’s statement. She said that Adnan should have not said this but he probably faced situations where he felt that. She said that she used to travel with so many stars like Atif Aslam and Ali Zafar for concerts and she has seen women tearing up their clothes and climbing on to these stars to get selfies. She added that all these superstars are trying to get away but these women keep flocking at them.
Rabi added that Adnan may have faced something similar and felt like women are flies and we women should do everything in our power to not look like houseflies. Here is what she said:
