Modelling and fashion industry has been very misunderstood in society since it became big. People have had different misconceptions and weird thoughts and opinions about models who work with different brands or whom they see in stills or campaigns for any brand. Obviously good and bad people exist everywhere and positive and negative aspects are attached to everything in life.
Rana Asif also known as Ranay is a PR specialist and he has become a household name after his stint in Tamasha. He is very outspoken and says it like it is. He has worked with all the big stars in the industry and people know him. He also works in the fashion industry and he has collaborated with various big brands.
He was a guest on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast and revealed that misconceptions about the industry even reach him sometimes. He shared that once he was called by a big brand for an event in Lahore. He was paid top notch accommodation and everything and the event went well. But when the event was about to end, the representatives from this big brand asked him if he can arrange two models to go with their boss that night.
Rana was obviously shocked and told them off that this is simple clean work and he is not listening to this stuff. Ahemd Ali Butt was also shocked to learn that a big brand can do this as well. Here is what he revealed:
