Rashid Mehmood has once again shared a video with fans through Lahore based YouTuber Moeen Zubair and opened up about his recent electricity bill. He also urged people to speak up for their basic rights.
Talking about the recent bill, he said, “I would like to share Saghir Siddiqui’s verse that our lives are associated with continuous struggle and hard times’, the poet here is refering to our condition as a nation, we all are facing hurdles and hardships because we have stopped speaking out for our basic rights as a nation. Please start raising your voice. Now, many social media intellectuals will say that he has not paid bill and came on social media, my dear fellows, last time I recorded my protest after paying my bill. I have once again received a bill of rupees 31 thousand for 500 units, of course, I will pay bill but kindly speak up before it’s too late” Here is the link to the video:
