Rawalpindi Express is a biopic based on the life of great fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar. People have always loved Shoaib Akhtar for his fast pace, brutal bouncers, entertaining cricketing style and aggression on the field. He made people love every second of his play and he was able to get so many wins for Pakistan. Now, his biopic was in works and a year ago, it was announced that the film will star Umair Jaswal as Rawalpindi Express.
Things however, went downhill as first Umair Jaswal and then Shoaib Akhtar parted ways with the team over creative differences. But it looks like Rawalpindi Express will still be released and Shoaib’s role will be played by Gohar Rasheed. The trailer and the first look of the film is here and it looks intense.
