Ruby Anum is a talented Pakistani stage artist, actor, and comedian, known for her versatile performances and vibrant personality. She has appeared in several popular shows Gustakhian, Khabarnak, Gugu Cafe, Chal Mera Putt 2 & 3. Currently, Ruby Anum is making less television appearances due to her heart disease, however, she appears in interviews and a few comedy shows.
Recently, she appeared in Rehan Tariq’s podcast for 24 Plus, in the podcast she called out women for glorifying divorce.
Talking about the increased ratio of divorce. Ruby Anum said, “You have to put efforts to make your marriage successful. Nowadays, many elderly women are promoting divorce. What message are you sending by implying that it’s okay to get a divorce? They casually say, ‘We were not compatible,’ but in doing so, they put your children’s lives and future at stake. Don’t normalize divorce with statements like, ‘We didn’t get along, so we separated.’ Why didn’t you try to adjust? Why are you sharing this publicly and glorifying it? What purpose does it serve to announce it? I want to highlight the reality for all older women who boast about their numerous proposals and multiple marriages.
