In the Asia cup, Pakistan lost the most anticipated Super Four match with India. In the match, the Indian team scored 356 runs and Pakistan team was all out at 128 runs. India won the match with 228 runs. After a poor performance, the team Pakistan is facing severe criticism. In the recent Samaa Tv’s sports show Zor Ka Jor, Shahid Afridi analyzed the poor performance of his son-in-law Shaheen Shah Afridi.
Talking about the bad bowling, Shahid Afridi said, “In the match with India, India won in the first 25 overs because of the way they played. I think we didn’t do good balling, however, Nasim Shah had a great start but Shaheen Shah Afridi and other bowlers didn’t bowl well, Shaheen Afridi’s line and length wasn’t good, yes, he also got anxious when he wasn’t getting wickets because getting early wickets is his speciality. India played well because they knew it was their last chance. I told you that they have one chance and they played attacking cricket. Shaheen should now stop making excuses, he should be consistent with his line and length, you can’t be angry at yourself. You should only focus on your line and length and performance”.
Shahid Afridi also gave a few useful tips to Pakistani bowlers regarding maintaining their line and length. He also said that Pakistani bowlers should now be consistent with good performance without getting panic or angry.
