Rasheed Naz, who has worked in numerous movies and television dramas, was born on September 9, 1948 in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He started his television career as an actor in Pushto television play in 1971. Rasheed Naz has worked in several Pashto, Hindko and Urdu language plays. His first Urdu play was Aik Tha Gaoon (1973).
