Ramadan transmissions are a staple every year and all channels come up with their own versions and segments of hours long transmissions. Shan e Ramzan is one of the oldest transmissions being run on mainstream television. Waseem Badami is the primary host and he has introduced several segments in the show.
A segment with kids is one of the highlights and we have seen Ahmed Shah who became famous from a viral video and his brothers become a part of the transmission. People have objected about putting kids in these shows in the past.
This year viral child Vlogger Shiraz and his sister Muskan also got invited and many people felt this was exploitation for TRPs. Mishi Khan also felt this way.

Waseem Badami has now come forward with his statement. Talking to Something Haute, he said that he will not want for any other kid that he does not want for his own kids. He added that he would invite all the kids of Pakistan to the show if he could. Badami also said that they let the children be children and do not pressure them into faking anything.
