Social media applications including Meta’s Facebook and Instagram are down worldwide. The internet outage was first reported on the Tuesday morning by Vodafone Egypt when disruptions due to damaged submarine cables, jammed the telecom infrastructure. The various parts of the world including Pakistan also faced the technical issues in major social media applications.
According to the Ary News, the internet across the globe is down because four internet cables of Red Sea got damaged, which disrupted the internet services partially. According to the international media, these water pathways are reportedly under attack’ of various acquatic invaders.
