The Lux Style Awards red carpet unfortunately showcased some epic fashion failures when it should have been an event lined with celebrities showing style at its best. Some of the major disappointments included Maya Ali, Urwa Hocane, Mawra Hocane, Sajal Ali and Osman Khalid Butt mainly because all of them are good looking people with style who could have looked much better.
Maya Ali’s make up and styling gave her a very stylish look but her dress was all black with very little designing which did not give her a very formal look. The full sleeves look suits Maya Ali more than the one she sported on the red carpet. Sajal’s look was flawed because of the same reason. Urwa and Mawra too like every other award show looked modern but there was nothing special about their dresses or styling. Osman Khalid Butt is a very handsome man whose styling was perfect but his jacket did not compliment his personality. It was conspicuous but the pattern wasn’t fit for a gentleman. These celebrities however are not on our worst dressed lists, they are those celebrities who could have made it to the best dressed list if they made different choices.

Ali Xeeshan
Designer Ali Xeeshan is known for his out of the box designs even on the cat walk but this man always gives us a reason to to put him on top of the worst dressed list every time. Ali Xeeshan looks all mixed up from head to toe. He isn’t even carrying a look which can qualify as formal, casual, Eastern or Western! He looks like a character out of Kung Fu Panda who got his hands on golden sneakers while he was sleep walking!
Momal Sheikh
We heard that the queen of style and make up Nabila was incharge of make up at the Lux Style Awards but looking at Momal’s make up particularly, it is difficult to believe that Nabila’s team could be behind this makeover. Make up is not the only thing wrong with Momal’s look, she wore a dress which is not complimenting her. The color, plain front and the silky texture, all make this dress an epic failure.
Ushna Shah
Ushna Shah has lost a lot of weight, she has gone from being chubby to being petite which is why showing so much skin wasn’t a great idea. She would have looked beautiful in a more fuller dress which covered more skin than it is revealing. The top is too tiny, not very flattering and the skirt too plain. Ushna Shah’s make up is just as plain as her dress, this look does not pass as a formal evening look.
Noor Hassan
Noor Hassan looks like a fashion disaster because of his dressing. He looks like a mix of doctor and postman. He probably experimented by wearing this jacket but the color and the design are not good. It looks like Noor Hassan got everything he loved in his wardrobe and put it on without thinking what look he wanted. His overall look is casual but the tie causes confusion! We like celebrities who experiment but Noor Hassan’s clothes look like a mismatch.
Sohai Ali Abro
This color suits Sohai Ali Abro but what is she wearing? It is difficult to make out whether it is Western or Eastern or if the dress she wears even has a proper cut. The jewelry she is wearing in her neck is also not complimenting the overall look. Tied hair look good on Sohai but the make up is too loud.
