Yasir Hussain is an actor, host and director. He has been in the industry for years and now he focuses more on filmmaking while his earlier passion was theatre. The actor is known to be very blunt with his opinions and he has been in several controversies due to that in his career. Yasir Hussain has been a host in many live shows and he has conducted some big award shows as well.
He was a guest on Maliha Rehman’s show and he talked about that he does not get offers to host award shows now. According to Yasir, the organizers of these shows think that he is a controversial personality and he may say things on stage that are not too cool for them and that is why he is not getting offered to host award shows though he has a huge experience with handling live audience.

He also spoke about all the celebrity divorces happening in the industry. He said that when two stars get married, there is a clash of egos. This is not the case when two actors marry. In his case, Yasir said that Iqra is a star while he is simply an actor and that is what he thought of from Day 1 of their marriage. Yasir added that this is just his opinion but mostly industry couples who have broken up were stars who got together.
