These couples used to hide their relationship status a few years back as dating is generally looked down upon in society but things have changed lately. Dating is becoming common, and celebrities share with the world when they are together. Some very famous celebrities dated in the past, some even reached the stage of engagement or Nikkah but things did not work out in the end.

Asim Azhar & Merub Ali
Asim Azhar and Merub Ali had a very public relationship. The couple was spotted together multiple times while Merub used to be present at all of Asim’s concerts. As soon as the public started speculating, this Pakistani celebrity couple announced their engagement three years ago. The families were happy with the union and supported them throughout. After three years together, Asim Azhar took to Instagram and announced that they had separated. This came as a shock to many fans who were waiting for the couple’s wedding this year. Asim Azhar and Merub Ali’s mothers were childhood friends, while Merub’s brother Ramis was close to Asim. The duo just collaborated for an extended version of the song Baat for Meem Se Mohabbat.
