Tamasha is one of Pakistan’s most popular reality shows, currently airing its fifth season on ARY Digital. The show started in 2022 and quickly became a favorite among viewers. Since then, Tamasha has returned every year with a new season and a fresh group of celebrities. The show is based on the Big Brother format and has gained a strong following in Pakistan as well as among viewers across the Subcontinent. Adnan Siddiqui has been hosting Tamasha since its first season.
Every year, the makers of Tamasha shortlist multiple celebrities to be part of the show and send invitations to actors and artists from the industry on a priority basis. This year, several artists were contacted to join Tamasha Season 5. Many of them accepted the offer, while a few also rejected the request to be part of the season. In the past, several big celebrities were also approached for Tamasha, but they refused to join the show because they were not comfortable with its format and pattern. Nadia Khan, Nadia Afgan, Mishi Khan, and others received invitations multiple times. Adnan Siddiqui previously expressed his wish to see Mishi Khan and Aijaz Aslam on Tamasha, but Mishi politely declined because of her busy schedule in Islamabad.
