Sanam Jung is a very talented Pakistani television actor. She started her career as a Vj and then switched to acting. Her popular drama was Dil E Muztar with Imran Abbas which gave her immense fame. She also worked in Mere Humdam Mere Dost, Alvida and Mohabbat Subh Ka Sitara. Well, recently, she’s coming in Pyari Mona in which she’s doing the character of a overweight girl who faces body shaming.
In a recent interview with BBC Urdu, Sanam Jung revealed that she refused Pyari Mona initially when it was offered to her and she agreed to it after a year. In interview with BBC, she said, “Its true that I had refused it initially and said yes to it after the gap of a year. I agreed to do it because I thought that I went through this same body shaming thing, I also thought that it was an important message to convey, after deciding I read and performed it with heart.
