Aamir Liaquat Hussain is one of the most famous television personalities in the history of Pakistan. He was a politician, anchor as well as a scholar. He was also extremely controversial and towards the last few years of his life, the controversies mostly surrounded his marriages and his broken family. Aamir Liaquat passed away tragically and his children have felt his absence since.
His ex-wife Dr Bushra Iqbal has defended him in the courts of law and the public eye since he passed away and she has for the first time given an interview where she shared soem unknown aspects of Aamir Liaquat’s life. In a podcast with Hafiz Ahmed, Dr Bushra Iqbal opened up about the circumstances surrounding their divorce and how was her relationship with Aamir.
She revealed that she had a very positive relationship with Aamir Liaquat. they never had any differences and even at the very end, they both did not want to divorce each other. It was actually the other family i.e. Aamir Liaquat’s second wife Tuba Anwar who was pressurizing him to get rid of his first family.

She also opened up about the problems that people saw between Aamir Liaquat and his children Dua and Ahmed. Bushra said that she never stopped children from meeting their father and actually he was in contact with his kids till the very end. He used to talk to them on the phone as well as went and met them at his old home. Tuba actually had a problem with Aamir’s relationship with his kids and that pushed a wedge between them.
