Pakistani dramas have a huge audience in India. Each week we see some drama trending on YouTube in India and dramas like Tere Bin, Kaisi Teri Khudgarzi, Mohabbar Gumshuda Meri and nowadays Ishq Murshid did really well in India and Indian fans love Pakistani stars. Due to a huge audience for Humsafar and Zindagi Gulzar Hai, we got to see Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan work with the cream of Bollywood. The latest and first Pakistani drama to feature on Indian television first, Abdullahpur Ka Devdas premiered on Zee Zindagi.
Sarah Khan spoke to India Today and she shared when she found out how famous she was in India. She said that after her drama Sabaat, she started to get so many messages from India and many Indians follow her on Instagram, that is when she found out that she was famous in India.

She also weighed in on Indo-Pak political tensions weighing on the projects artists have done or they signed up for. She said that people in India love to watch Pakistani stars and it saddens her when projects get stalled because of these tensions.

Sara also talked about the possibility of working in Bollywood. She said that she has also grown up watching Bollywood so she will feel good if she gets to work in another industry as working in any other industry is a good opportunity for any actor. She also revealed that Salman Khan is her favorite actor and she would love to work with him.
