Barzakh is a series starring Fawad Khan, Sanam Saeed, M Fawad Khan and Salman Shahid which came under a lot of scrutiny for its queer themes. The story also confused everyone with many who just could not understand what was actually going on in Barzakh. A massive backlash followed Barzakh in Pakistan and it made Zee Zindagi decide to pull the show off YouTube Pakistan starting from 9th August.
The dialogues delivered by literal children to bold story themes, a lot came under scrutiny in Barzakh and many were disappointed with the big stars who took up such a series with taboo themes.
