The video is getting severe public backlash. The social media users are of the view that divorce is a very painful experience and it should not be celebrated like that, rather it should be condemned. A social media user wrote, ‘even if she was in an unhealthy relationship, the divorce should not be celebrated because such celebrations degrade a pious institution like marriage which protects the rights of women and is the basis of every civilized societies’. A social media user wrote, ‘maybe she needs to get married again to restore her faith in marriage and Allah”. Many said that the girl is just pretending to be happy but she looks sad and lost.
