The actor Adnan Shah Tipu recently appeared in Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast where he talked about his career, success and the lessons he learnt from seniors like Qavi Khan.
Talking about Qavi Khan’s advice to him, he said, “I am an actor; I should not be interested in how the crew is working, I have nothing to do with lights, cameras, and other things. This is what I learnt from Qavi Khan: there was a time I was quite agitated with the way the crew used to work. I was called by Qavi Khan; he asked me what my problem was, to which I expressed my frustration with the way the team was working. He asked me, ‘Have you gotten the camera on you? If not, don’t speak about other things; just wait for your acting turn, focus on your performance, and go home. Stay silent; it’s like worship. I sit alone because I don’t want to disturb the other cast members; let them enjoy it. I am okay here in my space, you too, try to sit alone, act, and leave the set”. Here is the link to the video:
